This six-shot Target revolver with five inch barrrel is blue with case coloured hammer and trigger-guard and two-piece chequered hard rubber grips with S&W logo at the top. As many as 35,796 standard and Target models were manufactured 1878-1912 in many calibres including 44 Russian which is an obsolete calibre in the United Kingdom.


Condition: The revolver is in near excellent plus condition with 90% plus original blue. The hammer and trigger-guard retain about 70% strong case colours overall. The two-piece  grips have turned brown are in excellent condition with no chips. The bore is bright and the action is tight and crisp. An excellent plus example of this model that is getting harder to find in this condition.
